You can change a child’s life by donating an instrument during Colorado Public Radio’s Annual Instrument Drive. If you have a band or orchestra instrument in good condition, please bring it to any of 13 drop-off locations in Denver, Boulder, Golden, Pueblo and Grand Junction from March 1-16, 2013. Find the full listing of locations at www.cpr.org.
Donated instruments will be repaired by the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology (CIOMIT) so they are in the best playable condition when schools receive them. Colorado Public Radio works with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to identify and match available instruments with school music programs in need.
