Anyone know where to get Goretex pads for the Buffet clarinets besides from Buffet? Any suppliers carry them?

Thanks,

If one wants to buy whole sets, or individual pads, do you have to buy the pads directly from Buffet, or is there a domestic source?

The Buffet Crampon Goretex sets are made by Pisoni of Italy. The Music Group (TMG) have been slow to order much in the way of parts to North America. In fact, I believe TMG was allowing all stocks of parts to DWINDLE. There are a number of suppliers in Europe - prices are cheaper but you have to exchange rate pound/euro. Wind Plus, Ltd in the UK carries these or can order from Pisoni. Contact Gil Horton @ Wind Plus. We have 2 sets of the Gortex in stock. mark weinstein/weinstein woodwinds
