Anyone know what quality level a fairly new Blessing clarinet would be at? Would they be worthy of a repad if necessary? Or would it make a great lamp?
Thanks, Michelle

Michelle,
As far as I know, Blessing has never produced their own clarinet so it would depend on who made it for them. Some of their woodwinds were made by Amati for a while and I suspect that some of their older plastic clarinets may have been Bundys. Maybe the pivot screws/key work can give you a clue.
in any event, the Blessing name won't add much value to a clarinet.

As Bob says Blessings have been sourced from a variety of makers over the years.
Most of them I've seen I believe have been Chinese made & not just worth much time or money & a few which could have been Bundys plus one which looked like a Buffet B12.

Thanks guys. Crossing my fingers that these were the Bundy or Buffet made ones.
Thanks, Michelle

Last time I talked to Blessing, they said that all clarinets and saxes are made by Jupiter, and that they made the flutes themselves in house. That was several years ago though, as I try not to have much contact with Blessing, as it's more of a Curse for me.

Hi Andy!
Oooohhh....that would be great if these are Jupiter stencils. I'll hopefully find out the last week of May.
Thanks, Michelle
