Good Morning! Thank you for inviting me to participate in the PROBIRT Forum. I hope that we will be able to have some great discussions to make repair issues easier on all of us. To introduce myself, my name is Pat Diller, and I am the Parts and Service Coordinator for Conn-Selmer at the corporate office in Elkhart, Indiana.

I am not a repair tech. I do play trombone and baritone, and have worked with music in the past, but do not have the knowledge or expertise of the repair techs in this forum. My job is to make our parts department work, listen to our customers, and do what we can to help them. Even though I do take some phone calls for parts, I have other people that work directly with the parts and are repair techs. My job is not to know everything about repairs, but as I stated, get our parts departments back "up to speed". That being said, the only way we can accomplish getting our parts department back to be the best in the world, is to get your input. Please feel free to let me know what you like and dislike about Conn Selmer in relationship to parts and service. We can only get better with your help.

Secondly, I am trying to learn as much terminology and about parts as I can by taking phone calls from Repair Techs and finding the parts they are needing. If you can not find a part on our parts website and would like to ask about it, please feel free to ask for me. Again, it is the best way for me to learn parts is to talk parts with you.

Hello Pat:    Since I tried to contact you company today about this I
thought that I would ask you.

I am the BIRT at the Folsom Cordova Unified School District in Folsom
California. We have a lot of Conn-Selmer-Bundy instruments in our
district. We have four or five high schools, 4 middle schools and about
18 or 19 elementary schools.     (they keep me busy)

Anyway, I am new to this and doing what I can. I am also a part time
music teacher.

My question is: Is there any way I can get (buy) parts from your company
without going through a dealer?

Or, how can I become a dealer?
