Anybody know how to get a hold of Artley, or a source for a jead joint
cork for an old bass flute? It says "Mfg. under T.S. Ogilvie" and is
ser. #0509

Greg, that's an
interesting instrument. I have a customer that has one. I'll have to
look up the serial #. David Straubinger told me that there were only a
few made, all special order for use by Henry Mancini's Orchestra. Try
positioning the cork quite a bit out (towards the crown) more than
usual.
The response can be greatly increased. I get my corks from the sources previously mentioned.
