Had a YPC62 in with a "loose" tenon (Yamaha's term - it was stuck in
the headjoint, so I wouldn't really say loose) that I epoxied back
together. Yamaha covered the repair under warranty and I assumed that
they would have a standard amount they pay for specific warranty jobs,
but they asked me what the bill was for the repair. Out of curiosity,
what would you all charge for such a job?

It's been a while since I did one of these. If by loose socket you mean
the remove with the heated expander, clean and re-epoxy routine, I'd
guess at total 30-45 minutes total shop time?
I'd take the shop rate and multiply by the time/ material. Might try asking Yamaha what they estimate for repair time.
