Question: Did Leblanc ever make their own saxophones?
One of the auctions on Ebay stated that Leblanc never
made their own saxes? He said that Conn made their early horns. That means that Conn was also involved with the Leblanc saxes with all the crazy adjustments?
Does anyone know the actual history? I alway assumed that Leblanc mfg. the early horns? The Vito horns now are, as we know, Yamaha or Taiwan. (Maybe, with new owners, China also?)

I'm not aware of any Leblanc/Vito saxes by Conn, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I always heard that the Vito's from France were made by Couesnon. Later (current) Vitos were KHS or Yamaha.
I don't know who made the Leblanc system horns, but would doubt if Leblanc would tool up just to make those.

I seem to recall seeing saxophones being assembled during a tour of the Leblanc factory. Milwaukee Napbirt convention a few years back?
