For anyone interested in reading the user forums to learn more about band instrument repair. No registration is necessary. Enter forums. Visitors can also subscribe to the PROBIRT email newsletter.
Designed for members of the music community who do not earn their living
by repairing band instruments. This includes musicians, music educators,
students (non-repair), and instrument collectors. Non-technician members have access to
all areas of the Web site, receive our email newsletter, and have posting
privileges on the forums. Non-technician memberships are eligible for individual and groups subscriptions only.

In addition to the benefits of a Non-technician Membership, professional repair
technicians and repair students may post to all areas, including articles, tutorials,
tips, etc. They also receive a listing in our Tech Finder. In order
to qualify as a Technician or Student Member, you must either:
- earn at least half of your livelihood in the band instrument repair, supply, or manufacturing industry in a legal, registered business
- be a full-time student at a recognized, accredited band instrument repair school, or
- be retired from a career as a band instrument repair technician.
Technician memberships are eligible for individual, group, and free subscriptions.

*Technician Memberships - In order to become a Technician Member you must first register as a Non-Technician Member. If you were a previous Technician Member you will automatically default to that level of membership when you subscribe. If you're a new member, fill out the Technician Membership Request form in your profile and, when approved, your status and membership level will be changed and the additional site features will be available to you.
